Lotus Emeya
Lotus will soon have an electric super-saloon on its books.
The last time Lotus made a four-door super-saloon it was the Opel Lotus Carlton/Omega, which could knock on the door of 300km/h if you gave it enough room. This new Emeya won't quite do that - figure on about 270km/h - but it will blister its way to 100km/h from rest in less than three seconds if you plump for the most powerful version. Lotus is yet to reveal all of the new saloon's specifications, but bet on a range of better than 650km for the single-motor version. Basically an Eletre with about 30cm taken out of the overall height. Expected on sale in Ireland by the beginning of 2025.
