Cupra Born
The Cupra Born was touted as one of the first ever electric hot hatches.
If the Cupra Born is basically a Volkswagen ID.3 with a Spanish badge, then at least it’s a really good Volkswagen ID.3 with a Spanish badge. The basic 204hp model with the 58kWh battery covers most bases as it’s quick enough, has decent range and is perfectly pleasant to drive. You can get a bigger 77kWh battery, or upgrade to a slightly faster 231hp version, but it’s not really worth it as the Born remains more comfortable than it is sporty. The cabin is smart and well made, though.
