A 180kW (244hp) electric motor powers the Neora's front wheels and Luxgen says the battery packs gives a range of 400 kilometres on a single charge. The batteries can be recharged to 80 per cent of full power in one hour.
Luxgen has used lightweight materials to keep the Neora's overall weight down to 1,600kg. Inside, environmentally friendly recycled wood is used alongside leather that uses organic dyes.
Although not available in Europe, Luxgen says a production version of the Neora is likely and will be sold in both Taiwan and China, where Luxgen also intends to manufacture cars.
