MINI bike launched

A MINI-branded folding bike has been launched.

MINI drivers can now beat the traffic queues even more effectively, though they will have to put in a bit more leg work than just pressing the throttle pedal.

The MINI Folding Bike is just that, a bicycle than can be folded up when not in use and carried in the boot of a car. It takes seconds to fold the bicycle, either for storage or to use, and it weighs 11kg in total, so is easy to lift in and out of a car boot.

As standard, the MINI Folding Bike comes with 20-inch wheels, eight gears and an aluminium frame. It also has a gel-filled saddle for comfort and Teflon-coated chain to help keep the dirt off.

The MINI Folding Bike will be available from August and costs €499. All versions are finished in matt black with silver MINI lettering and a Union Jack logo on the rear forks.
