ABT is showing off the Audi A5-based ABT AS5 Dark, a package of cosmetic enhancements for the coupé and Sportback body styles. Although not exclusively offered on black cars it is designed to work best on darker hues.
Exterior
Red elements in the front spoiler and rear valance are designed to contrast with the body colour and match the rims of the 20-inch ABT CR wheels. Tyres are 265mm wide with spacers for the wheels to help them fill the arches. The coupé also gets a rear spoiler and side skirts while both body styles come with special decals and badges.
Interior
There are special 'Dark' floor mats and the headrests carry the ABT emblem.
Mechanicals
Although ABT can supply tuning parts to increase the power output of various models in the A5 range these are not part of the Dark package. You do get a special exhaust system said to give the AS5 a 'compelling and "smokey" voice'. The replacement rear silencer features four tail pipes with a black chrome finish.
