The Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore, Co. Waterford has become the first hotel in Ireland to purchase and run a 100 per cent electric vehicle. The hotel has invested in a new Renault Kangoo Z.E. with five seats to act as a courtesy vehicle for guests of the five-star hotel.
As Adrian Bartels, General Manager of the Cliff House Hotel, points out, the hotel has "...a very strong environmental policy..." and that when it came to choosing a vehicle that fit within that ethos "...the Renault Kangoo Z.E. ticked all the boxes."
"The staff at Renault H & H Motors were extremely helpful and guided us through the decision making process with ease," continued Bartels before finishing with "The hotel staff are already queuing up to test drive it!"
The branded Renault Kangoo Z.E. is likely to become a regular sight around Waterford as it ferries Cliff House Hotel guests around the county.
