Keary’s Motor Group offers online car buying

Cork-based dealer says it’s one of the first to offer end-to-end car-buying solutions.

Keary's, the Cork-based car dealer group, has announced that it's offering car buyers a fully-online buying experience. The service applies to both new and used cars and can be accessed through either the Keary's.ie website, or CarStore.ie.

More customers dealing online

"As more customers now browse our stock and apply for finance online, we can now provide an end-to-end automotive buying experience, said Brendan Keary, Director, Kearys Motor Group and Managing Director of CarStore.

"Kearys are the first motor group in Ireland with this technology and with more contactless transactions required across all industries, we are delighted to introduce our Deal & Deliver service," he added.

Sales appointments via Zoom or Skype

Customers can book a sales appointment with one of Keary's staff though any of the major online face-to-face conferencing methods - Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, or the new Keary's Video Live system. Or, of course, you can simply make a regular, old-fashioned phone-call.

Finance can be applied for and approved online, and Keary's is accepting payments from Apple Pay and Google Pay as deposits. Once the car is chosen and paid for, a member of the Keary's team will organise a fully-contactless delivery date and time, and the car will be fully sanitised and cleaned beforehand.

Video-call delivery and handover

Once the car has been delivered, a salesperson will video-call the customer and walk them through the normal delivery process, pointing out the major controls, and how to set the car up to the buyer's liking. There's also a seven-day 'cooling off' period in which you can hand back the car if you're not fully satisfied.

The Keary's Group holds franchises for BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, Hyundai, Nissan and Renault in Cork, Midleton, and Mallow, and also owns the CarStore second-hand supermarket brand, with outlets in Cork and Dublin.
