Subaru will unveil all-new Impreza 4-door and 5-door models at the New York Motor Show in the coming weeks.
The US spec Impreza will offer "the highest fuel economy of any all-wheel-drive car in the US", which probably isn't saying much.
There are no details as yet on specifications or performance figures for the car.
It is a little hard to make our major styling details from the side-on picture released but Subaru are aware that they will have to improve on the last Impreza, which was something of a styling disaster.
We will wait and see if they have made the right improvements.
