Bentley Continental 24 inspired by Nürburgring 24 Hours

Limited-run Bentley Continental 24 pays tribute to Bentley’s Continental GT3 racers.

What's the news?

To commemorate the efforts of Bentley Team ABT and its Continental GT3s on this year's Nürburgring 24H event, Bentley has announced a limited run of bespoke road cars based on the Continental Supersports.

The daunting 24-hour race takes place at the track affectionately known as the 'Green Hell', and has long been a major draw for manufacturers and private race teams alike.

Brian Gush, Bentley's Director of Motorsport, explains: "Winning this race is the equivalent of holding up a World Cup trophy. It confirms that you engineer and manufacture extremely durable and reliable cars that have precision handling and exceptional performance."

The special edition Continental 24 is mechanically identical to the regular Continental Supersports, although why you'd need more than 710hp and 1,000Nm of torque is beyond us... The changes are wholly cosmetic, calling to mind the liveries of the three cars fielded in this year's race. That means yellow or red exterior paint (available in duotone with black, or monotone options), with yellow or red accents on the 21-inch black wheels.

Carbon fibre is used for the door mirrors, as well as the engine cover. Inside, the door panels, fascia and treadplates are all made from the lightweight woven material, while Alcantara features on the seats, along with further coloured accents and a unique headrest emblem.

Only 24 examples will be made, at around €250,000 a pop.
