George Corbett Motors is Ireland’s newest Skoda dealer

Czech brand launches new dealership in Waterford.

What's the news?

George Corbett Motors has been officially appointed as the newest Skoda dealer in Ireland, with responsibility for the Waterford region. The move will bring ten new jobs to the area over the next year, in sales, aftersales and admin.

Corbett's has been selling cars to the people of Waterford since 1995 and has strong associations with Ballygunner GAA, Winterpark Rugby and the Bohemians' Soccer Academy. Originally on Park Road, before moving to the current premises on the Cork Road in 2003, the showroom has now been hugely revamped and updated to allow for the arrival of Skoda to the Deise city.

Commenting Raymond Leddy Head of Marketing, Skoda Ireland, said: "With the establishment of George Corbett Motors in Waterford we have a valued partner to provide quality Skoda vehicles, aftersales services and financial products to the people of Waterford. I wish George and his team the very best with their new venture. We are looking forward to Skoda becoming one of the top-selling brands in Co. Waterford over the next few years."

Also commenting, George Corbett added: "We welcome Skoda customers both old and new to come and view the new range of Skoda vehicles. We have some excellent offers across the range, most notably 0 per cent finance and 'scrappage' of up to €4,000 on new orders for 2017. We have excellent new service facilities with easy parking and comfortable customer facilities. All of us here are very excited about the arrival of Skoda and the exciting models including the new Kodiaq that will arrive here in March."
