Opel announces 0% PCP for 171 plates

Opel announces 0% PCP for 171 plates Opel to offer Mokka X from €199/mth, Corsa from €135/mth and Astra for €192/mth.

What's the news?

Opel Ireland is offering 0 per cent PCP on all new Corsa, Mokka X, Astra, Insignia and Zafira Tourer models, if they're ordered between now and December 31st, and then registered before January 31st, 2017.

The German manufacturer has also introduced in-car Wi-Fi to its OnStar services here in Ireland, making its cars more connected than ever before.

Starting with the updated Mokka X, a mid-range SC model with OnStar plus smartphone projection with voice command through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto - listed at €21,495 - can be financed for as little as €199 per month. The Mokka X now comes with LED Adaptive Forward Lighting headlamps and a choice of four engines: a 1.6-litre normally aspirated petrol with 115hp; a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol with 140hp; a newer 1.4 turbo, developing 150hp; and the impressive 1.6-litre 'Whisper' diesel, rated at 136hp.

The ever-popular Corsa hatchback starts at €15,150 for an entry-level three-door S model and €15,750 for the five-door. Opt for the 0 per cent PCP and the SC trim will cost from €135 per month - including Opel OnStar, Wi-Fi, and smartphone projection with voice command through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Moving on to the award-winning Astra, a mode such as a five-door hatchback SRI with the 136hp 1.6-litre diesel engine and the full OnStar connectivity package starts at €20,750 or €192 per month, which is a tempting deal for such a good C-segment car.

The Insignia is Opel's flagship and a car in the same spec as the Astra listed above - a 136hp diesel SRI - would cost €245 on a 0 per cent PCP deal. Meanwhile, the Zafira Tourer MPV has just been facelifted and improved in terms of its tech offering, although exact pricing for this seven-seat family mover is yet to be set by Opel Ireland.

Anything else?

Opel is offering a free trial period of Wi-Fi services for three months to all customers who have OnStar specified in their vehicles. This is in addition to the one-year free trial of other OnStar services, such as destination download, remote stolen vehicle assistance, vehicle diagnostics and a smartphone app. Ongoing Wi-Fi price plans and packages will be confirmed by Opel in due course.
