Ford is giving a big, Fiesta-shaped dig-out to The Care Trust, a charitable organisation which raises money for Central Remedial Clinic (CRC), Rehab and the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. The money raised helps fund these organisations in their work with the many thousands of children and adults with physical, medical or intellectual disabilities, those who are socially disadvantaged and those requiring medical care.
The Blue Oval is donating 36 Fiestas to the Trust, which will be raffled off as prizes at the rate of three a month, raising much needed money for those who struggle to afford to costs of expensive medical care. The competitions can be entered for as little as "the price of a cup of coffee per week" and there will be cash prizes on offer too.
Launching the 2016 car giveaway, Dr. Senan Mullins, CEO of The Care Trust, said: "The Care Trust fundraises on behalf of the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC), Rehab and the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital to help support the valuable work undertaken by each of these Irish entities on a daily basis. The Care Trust is supported by thousands of people across the country who pay little more than the cost of a cup of coffee per week and this gives them access to our monthly draws where they can win up to three Ford Fiesta cars per month or any of our many generous cash prizes."
Ciaràn McMahon, Ford Ireland Chairman and Managing Director, said: "We are delighted to partner with The Care Trust in support of their valuable work in our communities. We hope that with the popular Fiesta as the centrepiece of their monthly draws, The Care Trust's fundraising activities will go from strength to strength in 2016."
The Care Trust's prize draws take place three times per month with all winners notified by post. All registered contributors who contribute €3.50 per week / €15 per month are eligible for all of the draws. For more information, see thecaretrust.ie or phone (01) 200 0060.
