Mitsubishi Motors Ireland has finally released pricing for its i-MiEV electric vehicle, despite examples of this car having been on Irish roads since July of this year.
The car will be delivered to customers from January 2011 and will retail from €28,995, which includes the €5,000 Government grant.
Mitsubishi Motors had been slow to confirm pricing for the i-MiEV in Ireland, but has done so following the announcement in the UK that the price of the i-MiEV will be reduced to £23,990. That also includes a UK Government grant of £5,000.
The i-MiEV will be a tough sell for Mitsubishi, since the substantially bigger and more generously equipped Nissan LEAF electric vehicle will cost just €1,000 more.
