Jeep gets commercial

A range of Jeep commercial vehicles is now available, from the Compass to the Grand Cherokee, priced from €25,266.

Jeep has launched a range of commercial vehicles on the Irish market.  Every model in the line-up is now available in commercial form.

The range starts with the €25,266 (plus VAT) Compass Commercial.  This comes with a 2.2-litre, 163hp diesel engine that drives through a six-speed manual gearbox.  The Compass can tow up to 2,000kg and up to 470kg can be carried in its 1,269-litre payload area.  Equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth and climate control.

The Wrangler Commercial is offered in both short- and long-wheelbase versions.  The former comes as standard with a five-speed automatic transmission, which is optional on the latter.  Both variants get a 200hp diesel motor and all-wheel drive.  In the back the long wheelbase model has 1,000 litres of space and can carry up to 633kg.  Prices start at €28,210.

At the top of the range is the Grand Cherokee with a 3.0-litre, 245hp V6 turbodiesel engine.  Up to 677kg loads can be accommodated in the 1,500-litre load space and towing capacity is 3,500kg. Self-levelling suspension is fitted, as well as all-wheel drive.  The Grand Cherokee features leather seats, dual-zone climate control and a touch-screen infotainment system.  An even more luxurious Overland model is also available with larger alloys, satnav and Nappa leather with wood trim.  The Grand Cherokee is available from €45,066.
