New look for Lexus RX 450h

Lexus will facelift its hybrid SUV, and add a sportier version.

The current model has been around since 2009, so it's no surprise that Lexus will show its new RX 450h at next week's Geneva Motor Show before it hits the showrooms later this summer.

Not only will it get new headlights with LED running lamps, new bumpers, taillights and alloy wheels, but Lexus will also reveal an F-Sport version too. Like other F-Sport models the RX 450h will feature more distinctive and aggressive styling, as well as a more pronounced grille that runs the full depth of the car's face. It's the same as we have already seen on the forthcoming GS F-Sport executive saloon, and should give the RX a much more distinctive look.

Talking of which, the new GS 450h and GS 450h F-Sport will also make an appearance, alongside the gorgeous LF-LC Hybrid Sports Coupé Concept. The latter promises scintillating performance and handling all the while maintaining lower running costs thanks to the hybrid drivetrain. If it ever gets made.
