Extra Toyota bZ4X available in May

Toyota Ireland confirms increased supply of its bZ4X electric vehicle.

Toyota Ireland has confirmed that it has secured a supply of the new bZ4X electric crossovers for delivery in May. The bZ4X had originally gone on sale last year, but deliveries had been delayed by the chip crisis and a worldwide recall to fix an issue with the car's wheel hubs.

Range of up to 505km

Now that these issues have been sorted, the bz4X should be a little more available than it was, and Toyota Ireland says that it's gotten hold of an allocation for delivery next month. Prices for the bZ4X - which has a one-charge range of up to 505km - start from €48,575, and you can nab one for €494 per month on a Toyota PCP finance package.

SEAI grant being cut in July

However, you're being advised to get your order in before the 30th of June, as after that, the SEAI electric car grant is being cut from €5,000 to €3,500 (although we have been told that if you can prove a delay in delivery, you can get a few month's grace period on that cut, as long as you get your grant approval before the 30th of June cutoff).

Innovation journey

Zoe Bradley, Head of Marketing Communications and Corporate Affairs at Toyota Ireland, commented, "We are thrilled to announce that due to popular demand, a new supply of our popular Toyota bZ4X is now available to order for May delivery with a competitive price point to match. Sustainability is the most important consideration within Toyota's innovation journey, and this range truly embodies our 'Built for a Better World' brand purpose as we work towards our global goal of carbon neutrality by 2040 in Europe. We encourage all customers who are interested to reach out to their local dealership to avoid missing out, and to do so before 30th June to ensure they receive their full EV grant!"
