Ford Ireland 202-plate offers

New Ford Kuga debuts with €2,500 discount.

Ford has introduced a raft of offers to try and buoy up the car market as we head into the second, hopefully, less-Covid-y half of the year. The big news is that the all-new Kuga is finally here, in diesel and in plug-in hybrid forms, and you can nab yourself a €2,500 discount on the new RAV4 rival.

€33,433 for the new Kuga plug-in hybrid

The new Kuga comes with Ford's SYNC3 infotainment system and touchscreen, a powered tailgate, projector headlamps, cruise control and speed limiter, and can be had for €30,858 for the diesel model, or you can have the plug-in hybrid for €33,433 - a substantially lower price than Toyota's non-plug-in RAV4 Hybrid.

"The new Kuga is our most advanced PHEV model ever and is the ideal vehicle for the environmentally-conscious customer who wants a stylish and sporty model but may still be nervous about buying a full electric vehicle. The Kuga PHEV expands the Ford hybrid vehicle line up that includes our Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (mHEV) Puma and Mondeo HEV and soon to arrive Fiesta mHEV and Focus mHEV" said Ford Ireland's market lead, John Manning.

€1,500 off the new Puma

There are other offers across the Ford range, including a €500 discount on the Fiesta; €2,000 off an EcoSport crossover; the all-new Puma crossover (one of the best cars we've driven all year) with a €1,500 discount; €2,500 off a Focus; and a €1,500 discount on a Mondeo. All of those cars now come with a seven-year warranty and you can have PCP finance at a 4.9 per cent interest rate.

"As our industry starts to reboot again after the unprecedented impact of the Covid-19 restrictions, we have put in a place a suite of offers that will suit all types of car buyers", said Manning. "For anyone in the market for a new car, we hope Ford will be top of their list whether it is a compact SUV or large 7-seater they are looking for, or indeed, anything in between. And with our 'peace of mind' three month payment deferral, customers can get behind the wheel and not worry about monthly payments until the autumn.

Discounts on Transit van too

"The Ford 202 Sales Event offers also extends to our market-leading commercial vehicle range, Ireland's favourite vans. With reductions of up to €6,500 across the range including on Ireland's most popular van, the award-winning Ford Transit. These deals also come with a five-year warranty and low 3.9 per cent interest."
