Not much in the way of cast-iron information for you here, but if you can follow the BMW SUV pattern - that the X6 is a coupe X5, while the X4 is a coupe X3 - then this rendering of a forthcoming Mercedes concept should make total sense.
Hot on the heels of the ML morphing into the GLE and spawning the X6-rivalling GLE Coupe, this is a Concept GLC Coupe - an X4 rival and a smaller SUV crossover.
Mercedes gives us no more details than that at this stage, beyond saying the: "dynamically expressive show car combines typical coupe stylistic features with the sensual and pure design idiom of forthcoming Mercedes SUVs". But given Merc has recently announced it will make a pick-up before 2020, the GLC Coupe should be confirmed as a production car sooner rather than later.

The Concept GLC Coupe will be shown at the Shanghai show at the end of April, so expect more details in the very near future.
