Remember that Renaultsport race car tantalisingly hinted at back in June? Well, the French firm has revealed its name - the R.S. 01.
Destined for the World Series by Renault Championship, the Renaultsport R.S. 01 will feature a Dallara-built carbon fibre monocoque and a 500hp+ Nismo-derived engine paired with a Sadev seven-speed sequential gearbox. Specific tyres for the R.S. 01 will be developed by Michelin and the whole thing should weigh no more than 1,100kg. Sensational!
