Danger! UX (to) be shown by Lexus in Paris

Three-door Lexus UX Concept SUV is Japanese firm's show-stopper.

What's the news?

This chunky, angular creation is the Lexus UX Concept and it is going to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show 2016.

Created at the ED2 European design centre of Lexus and Toyota, the UX clearly shares the striking SUV architecture that defines the company's NX and RX production models, although as you can see the concept car is a three-door sporty affair.

And beyond that, we can tell you little more, as Lexus is teasing us with the image alone. Reckon on it having some form of hybrid drivetrain and an interior unlike anything on sale, and you'll be on the right track.

Lexus says the UX Concept 'showcases imaginative technologies for an immersive driver experience, while the interior marries traditional craftsmanship with high-tech manufacturing techniques', if that clarifies things any further for you.

No word on if the UX will ever make production in one form or another, but Lexus says: "Its strongly differentiated identity is meant to appeal to a progressive, urban audience living in a connected environment."

Anything else?

Alongside the UX Concept, Lexus will show off its refreshed IS saloon and the flagship coupé, the LC.
