Is the suspension comfy on this Mercedes?

Morning all, I hope youre well.

I'm looking at a used Mercedes C 220 d estate in AMG Line trim (2019), with passive sports suspension on 18-inch rims. Comfort and refinement are my priorities, after years of putting up with overly firm rides. Unfortunately, I can't test drive the car because of the current Covid lockdown. What do you reckon? Would my fillings loosen up or is it a more relaxed setup than that?

Any advice appreciated,

Jeremy

My Mercedes GLC seems to bottom out!

I have a 2016 Mercedes GLC 220d 4Matic. I love the car but I find that, with an adult or two in the back, the suspension feels very soft and even feels like it bottoms out on hitting even a slight undulation on a good road. Are these cars noted for soft suspension? Please give me your opinion. It is under warranty and I took it to a Merc dealer yesterday where I bought it,  but I think he was trying to fob me off and said he couldn't find fault with it.

Is the 1.6 TDI VW Golf worse on the road?

Hi,

Have you driven the VW Golf mk7 1.6 TDI yet? Is the semi-independent torsion beam set up going to be less composed under normal driving conditions (including poor roads) compared to the multi-link set up on higher powered versions?

Thanks

Looking for an extra-comfy car...

I saw the Skoda Fabia - Toyota Yaris comparison. I am looking for a car with a smooth drive as my dear wife has back problems and feels every bump. Also, do othropedic seats that you place on the car seat help?

Thanks,

Allan

Can I soften my AMG CLA 45's suspension?

Hi folks,

I have a Mercedes CLA 45 AMG; can the option of putting in a softer suspension be fitted to the car?
