Range Rover SVR drifts into action

New video shows Range Rover Sport SVR sliding on track.

Here's some footage that you probably never thought you'd see - a Range Rover oversteering on a (reasonably) dry track.

This awesome film shows Mike Cross, Land Rover's chief engineer for vehicle integrity, sliding the forthcoming RR Sport SVR - a 550hp and 680Nm 5.0-litre supercharged V8 monster - at quite ludicrous angles on the Rockingham circuit in the UK.

Mike explains how the Special Vehicle Operations model offers 'supreme high-speed handling characteristics', thanks to that drivetrain and advanced all-wheel drive chassis tech.

Anything else?
