Two million likes for Rolls

Rolls-Royce welcomes its two millionth Facebook fan.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has recently welcomed its two millionth Facebook 'like'. That means the number of fans of the Rolls-Royce Facebook page is now roughly the same amount of people living in Latvia today.

The two millionth like was posted by a fan living in India - the country with the most Rolls-Royce fans in the world. Pakistan and the United States follow closely behind in second and third places.

In a letter posted personally on Facebook, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, wrote, "Thank you to each and every one of you who has helped us reach a landmark two million fans. Through Facebook we can share sneak previews, bespoke insights and captivating stories from the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars with you, wherever you are in the world." He concluded, "I am excited to be sharing the journey with you!"

Anything else?
Created in July 2010, the Rolls-Royce Facebook page was launched, not only to promote Rolls-Royce but to also broaden the appeal of the brand to a more contemporary and younger audience, something the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Wraith models have also done an excellent job of already, since being released to market.

Since then Rolls-Royce has built a strong following of those who desire its products and who - perhaps - will one day commission their own Rolls-Royce.
