Joe Duffy Motor Group seeking new apprentices

Dublin-based motor group launches new Motor Apprenticeship Programme.


One of the largest motor dealers in Ireland, the Joe Duffy Motor Group, has announced that it is seeking applications for 12 apprenticeship places in its Dublin-based dealerships. The Apprentice Programme will provide training in how to undertake repairs and servicing of motor vehicles, detection and diagnosis of additional faults, as well as being able to ensure that all work is safely completed in accordance with manufacturer and industry guidelines.

The Apprentice Programme will run for a four-year period and is a modular-based system that comprises of seven alternating phases of training and development - four on-the-job and three off-the-job. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, a FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft will be awarded, which is a qualification that is recognised both nationally and internationally.

Candidates should have a keen interest in motor vehicles and it is essential that they have a minimum grade achieved in English, Maths and a Science-based subject. Applications along with CVs and covering letters can be sent to [email protected].
