Opulence taken to a new, even more ludicrous level.

What's the news?

Rolls-Royce makes cars for people who have lots of money. Porto Cervo is a holiday destination for people who have lots of money. Rolls-Royce runs something called a ''Summer Studio'' in Porto Cervo, for people with lots of money. Does anyone notice a pattern emerging here?

Two unique Rollers have been created to mark the opening of the Summer Studio, a Wraith and a Dawn. The Wraith aims to capture the ''ambient hues of dusk'', with two-tone silver paint embellished with purple detailing on the outside, while The Spirit of Ecstasy figurine casts a subtle glow from the top of the grille. The interior features ostrich (!) leather, with a combination of dark shades including purple, slate and black attempting to convey the calm of night.

The Dawn meanwhile is inspired by the Sardinian port's seascape. Emerald green paint on the exterior, with seashell and green leather along with teak detailing inside, mean that you may confuse the car with one of your boats. But there's more, as the centre fascia features an outline of Porto Cervo's emblem in emeralds and mother of pearl set into white gold, just to ensure that you don't forget the origins of the car's influences...

Whether these cars will find homes or not is a moot point, but fear not, because if you are feeling particularly flush you can use Rolls' Bespoke service to tailor your own land yacht in whatever manner takes your fancy. The Summer Studio is open until September, ''by appointment for patrons of true luxury'', of course.
